Research Visit
On February 25:th I visited the research group led by Andrea Marchetti at IIT, CNR in Pisa and presented ongoing research in Handwritten Text Recognition, Age Estimation and Face Recognition.
Handwritten Text Recognition – challenges and possibilities
I made a presentation fot the Gender and Work project with the above title. I had many inspiring questions and interesting discussions. I will continue working together with this group to tailor a pipeline for HTR of their unique historical material. This project is lead by Prof. Maria Ågren at the Department of History.
