I presented the paper "Improving Face Image Retrieval in Historical Archives: Fusion of Mirrored Images and Better Consensus Ranking" at Advanced Concepts for Intelligent Vision Systems (ACIVS 2025), 28th – 30th July 2025, Tokyo, Japan.
Research Visit
On February 25:th I visited the research group led by Andrea Marchetti at IIT, CNR in Pisa and presented ongoing research in Handwritten Text Recognition, Age Estimation and Face Recognition.
DIGARV and City Faces Project Meetings
I participated in a workshop about Image Analysis (without computer algorithms) at the Stockholm City Museum given as a part of DIGARV and connected to the City Faces Project. This was followed by a meeting for writing a book chapter for the same project, at the City Archive.
Presentation
I presented my work in the City Faces project at the City Museum, and the title in Swedish was: Historiska porträtt och modern ansiktsigenkänning med AI. Here is a link to the full program.
