I never kept track of people acknowledging me, and usually my master thesis students makes an acknowledgment. Since I have had so many of them, that the list would be very long, but I do appreciate all of them! Here are some that were made recently and also touched me in a special way.

First is in the book I and others proofread:

Second was a Master student (not mine), which I helped just because the topic was interesting to me, and I was also invited to visit Riksarkivet where the supervisor works, which was a really interesting experience:
Investigation of OCR Model Performance and Post-OCR Correction Strategies A Comparative Analysis. “I also want to thank Anders Hast, for his deep knowledge of OCR and for being an active participant in this thesis from the very start – positively influencing which OCR models might be suitable, teaching me about OCR and reading this report despite his busy schedule with other master’s students. His positive attitude and deep expertise, combined with his intellectual curiosity, are a true inspiration.”

Anders Hast received a PhD in Computerised Image processing at Uppsala university in 2004. In 2011 he spent one year at IIT, CNR, Pisa in Italy as an ERCIM fellow and after that he received a full time position as associate professor and in 2019 he became professor in image processing, both at Uppsala University. He has been affiliated with UPPMAX super computer centre where he worked as an application expert in Scientific Visualisation and later in the field of digital humanities together with the Centre for digital humanities in Uppsala. His recent research has focused on image processing and computer vision, for applications in microscopy, aerial photography, object recognition and especially hand written text recognition and face recognition.
